Summary
This configuration file (config) makes more nuclear engines than just the stock one emit radiation. Note the radiation amount is merely directly proportional to mass and just rescaled from the stock engine (any better ideas?) - I applied absolutely no balance here. On the plus side, any data defined by Kerbalism is preserved, so balanced parts stay balanced.

This patch should be automatically compatible with any modded engines, due to how those work in KSP. If some engines are not supported/are supported but should not be - sorry, I cannot really help here, I am not the coding pro :-(

This patch requires the Module Manager plugin. It was not included here, as it is so common I assume you have it already. However I listed it here for completeness. It also requires Kerbalism (obviously).

I release this snippet of code under the conditions of GPLv3. Basically, you are allowed to do anything with it, but you have to keep this license. Also, special thanks to Sarbian and Olympic1 for teaching me to use advanced ModuleManager syntax.
Raw stats are from the beginning of time until now. Each follower and download entry represents one hour of data. Uneventful hours are omitted.
