Nowhere Rocket — Modular Domes CKAN

Bring the Nowhere Rocket from Courage the Cowardly Dog’s “Remembrance of Courage Past” into Kerbal Space Program!

This episode-inspired recreation features the distinctive purple body, mint crew cabin, burgundy boosters, gold crown, and rounded gold-and-silver engine bells. Build the complete rocket or use its individual components in your own spacecraft.

Features include:

• Fully modular construction: 12 selectable part types forming a complete 24-part rocket, with separate tanks, engines, booster caps, upper-stack sections, and separators.
• LiquidFuel/Oxidizer boosters: Four independent side boosters with throttle control, shutdown, and restart capability.
• Rounded dome engines: A 300 kN gold core engine and four 160 kN silver booster engines, featuring open exhaust mouths and grid seams.
• Three-seat command cabin: Includes SAS, probe backup, electrical power, an animated riveted hatch, and the stock Mk1-3 IVA.
• Independent staging: Release the booster assemblies and separate the cabin using dedicated separators.
• Included craft and source files: A preassembled modular vessel, an updated legacy craft, editable GLB/OBJ models, and procedural build scripts.

Version 0.4.0 converts the side boosters to LiquidFuel/Oxidizer while preserving their dome geometry, modular connections, thrust ratings, and propellant mass. Each booster feeds from its own tank, with crossfeed to the core disabled.

Designed for KSP 1.12.x on PC, with no required DLC or additional plugins. Copy GameData/NowhereRocket into your GameData folder and install the supplied craft in your save’s Ships/VAB folder. Remove the previous NowhereRocket folder before upgrading and use the updated craft, since older saved vessels retain their previous fuel loads.

Development status: Prototype. Static asset, configuration, attachment, and fuel-path checks have passed; in-game validation remains pending. Begin with an uncrewed Sandbox checkout. Add parachutes before planning crew recovery.

An unofficial fan recreation. Original mod code and authored assets are supplied under GPL-2.0-or-later.
