Ever thought OPM felt a little old... or you didn't like that it seemed to resemble the real Solar System too much?
AOP (Alternate Outer Planets) is here to fix that.
.
With a new set of moons orbiting around two new unique planets, it offers a fresh experience simillar yet unique from OPM.
Note: In AOP, Eeloo keeps its place in a simillar orbit around Jool.
As of version 1.0, AOP includes:
.
Jaea, a large Saturn/Uranus analogue. It has two vast ring systems. In between those rings, lives it's first moon.
Pont, a world simillar to Tekto but with some interesting differences. It's atmosphere is much thinner than Tekto's, something simillar to Laythe's. It has turquoise seas and sand dunes, and the most interesting thing about it has to be it's location: Right in between Jaea's two major ring systems, with the most brilliant view in the Kerbol system.
Frusk, a smallish frozen ice moon with a huge ice lake covering almost half of it's surface.
Bansa is a moon that is simillar to Iapetus in real life. It has a huge brown maria covering most of it's surface, and is a great place to build a base (if you don't mind it's inclined orbit)
Didan is a comet that has been captured by Jaea's gravity, and is geologically dead.
.
Maegal, a planet standing in for Uranus or Neptune. It has simillar orbit to Neidon and serves as an endgame location for your kerbals. It only has one moon, but is huge (bigger than Jool!) and a challenge to reach.
.
.
AOP supports many mods, including but not limited to:
Parallax Continued (note that it doesn't have custom scatter models)
Eve/Volumetric Clouds V5
Scatterer
Rational Resources
SpaceDust
TiltEm/TiltEm Continued
This mod was mainly made for improving my planet modding skills and for testing a project. If there is anything off, please tell me!
Oh also it has AI science defs so expect it to sound weird since I'm lazy
