Summary: Using soundtrack editor this mod makes KSP music Dynamic. Unique music for each Planet, Re-entry music, Landing music, Launch music and surface music, with a current total of 125 new tracks.

  • Painstakingly chosen and crafted to provide a unique experience for each planet, resembling its look and feel.
  • Exciting planet unique music at Landing, Launching and Re-entry.
  • FULL OPM Support (outer planets mod) and FULL MPE Support (minor planets expansion) all containing their own themes.
  • An organized playlist.cfg, file structure and a guide how to easily customise, adding music or making changes.
  • Despite 430mb file size there is no extra load time on startup because soundtrack editor loads on demand.

Future plans:

  • Even more versions of main-themes (v2 update already added a lot!).
  • Even more unique landing music for different bodies.
  • An achievement system that plays a short melody the first time you enter an unvisited system.
  • In addition to current custom surface-music, also option for seperate athmospheric-flight-music.
  • More mpe landing music situations.

Some Details:

  • Each planet has a unique "main theme" that always plays first. After that they often contain variants that sound like the main theme but are much more ambient and slightly longer.
  • Each planets surface contain unique variants of its main theme that only play on its surface.
  • Many important planets already contain their own unique re-entry/landing music. If not they either use the standard landing track or the heavy landing track (Tylo,Slate,Wal).
  • Playlists contain "intervals" that are basicly short 30-40 seconds silent tracks to create short pauses to break up long continues music. This is a great trick to make music feel "fresh".
  • Many playlists containt "buffers" that are short 5-10 seconds silent tracks to dramaticly improve load times and help with a better transition at the last phase of landing.
  • Apart from the normal kerbin re-entry music it also has a "fast-entry" track that only plays when entering above 4500dv.
  • There is an easter egg track for Edas (Mpe mod).
  • Kerbol (star) has an intense "low orbit" version and also an lonely "high orbit" version (past eeloo).
  • There is different launch music for planes.
  • Many more details are done in edits of all 125 tracks to have better transitions and other benefits.
